Hello, I am happy to meet you. I’m glad you have taken the time to visit my profile and to meet me. I have been in chiropractic practice for over 20 years. I have an overwhelming desire to help people get well and stay well that began long before I became a chiropractor. I have always looked for ways to help people in small ways and in life changing ways. Small or large I find there is no greater reward than to offer a solution for someone who feels they have run out of options. I think you will find my love for my patients and my love of practicing a natural healing art gives me the will to succeed with difficult cases when others have failed. Please look around there is a lot of great stuff on my site and feel free to have a look at my CV below. — Dr. John G. Vilkelis

Summary of Qualifications

I have been in private practice in New York City for over twenty years. I have been affiliated with The New York Theatre Ballet, the local and regional rugby all-star teams. I am also very proud of the fact that I was able to participate in the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center. I volunteered and treated many emergency workers and support staff at Ground Zero from September thru November 2001.

I accept all ages into my practice including seniors and children. I treat all musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities. I also help my patients to overcome many visceral conditions as well. I enjoy working with other practitioners to take a holistic approach to a patient’s care; cooperation between different healing mediums often yields remarkable results.
