After receiving a DDS degree from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Jill Meyer completed a General Practice Residency program at Columbia–Presbyterian Hospital where she trained in all aspects of general dentistry. She also has a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University. Dr. Meyer has completed the International Association of Orthodontics 2 year Mini-Residency and the BioBloc Mini Residency.

At the Hindin Center, Dr. Meyer practices family dentistry with a focus on pediatric care. She is one of only a few dentists locally working in the emerging field of pediatric dentistry called Orthotropics, (or Facial Growth Guidance). This uses a method called BioBloc therapy to redirect growth of the lower face in a more ideal direction, converting “unfavorable” vertical growth into “favorable” horizontal growth which is healthier for the child.

Dr. Meyer is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, International Association of Orthodontics, American Academy of Gnathalogical Orthopedics, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. She is also involved in numerous community organizations and activities, including The Health and Wellness Committee for the Nyack School District, PTA, Inspire Foundation, and has performed voluntary dental screenings in some of Rockland County’s elementary schools and nursing homes.
