Pete graduated from Westmont College with his B.S. in Kinesiology in 2006 and earned the degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of California San Francisco in 2011. In 2012 he completed an APTA credentialed residency program in Functional Manual Therapy in Palo Alto, California under the mentorship of Lang Ngov. In August 2012, Pete tested for his Certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT), which he passed with Distinction (>94% cumulative score). From May 2013 until May 2014 Pete worked with the Institute of Physical Art’s Residency Program, VARDAN, in Mumbai, India and Delhi, India. In addition to being an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Pete is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Pete has been a faculty member with the Institute of Physical Art since 2012. Outside of the clinic Pete is very active. His interests include, but are not limited to, basketball, volleyball, running, rock climbing, golf, and snowboarding.
