Janet Little, MD
Inspiring, transforming, and empowering healers to create optimum vitality for themselves and others.
At the young age of 10, Dr. Janet Little, MD had a dream of helping people in a big way which took her on a journey to become a Family Medicine physician. Upon completion of residency in 2007 from Christiana Care Health System, she was an early adopter to the idea of Urgent Care and became the only physician in the country to be selected in the Urgent Care Fellowship Training Program at Case Western University Hospitals. From that experience, she was able to grow her leadership abilities through teaching, coaching and training other health care providers. She found her passion in not just teaching about evidence-based medicine, but how to compassionately deliver that care with respect and honor to patients.
At the age of 36, she began a new journey into personal and professional development, questioning what she was seeing and experiencing around her and her fellow colleagues – various stages of burnout. After years of her own self-discovery, she realized that the only way that she could continue to excel as a physician, wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend and do it with excellence was through self-care and radical transformation. It was that awakening that created a new vision for her to become a John Maxwell certified coach, speaker, and trainer to develop others on becoming better servant leaders, first by healing oneself. She realized that her reach to impact patient care would be greatest when she showed up as her highest self to serve her fellow healers.
