Beth C. Steinberg, L. Ac.
New York, NY 10023
Beth has a deep respect for and appreciation of allopathic medicine and all that it can offer patients. She often refers patients to orthopedists, neurologists, chiropractors and physical therapists. Sometimes, particularly for chronic conditions, traditional Chinese medicine can resolve conditions that allopathic physicians can’t. Pain management can often be successfully treated with acupuncture alone in conjunction with standard medical treatment but other chronic conditions generally resolve more quickly when both acupuncture and herbal therapy is employed. She only prescribes GMP and/or TGA approved formulas and uses the same granule formulas that the Cleveland Clinic uses in their herbal clinic.
Beth also treats allergies (seasonal and perennial), fibromyalgia, menopause, eczema, rosacea, acid reflux, irritable bowel disease, colitis, and migraines among other conditions. She also refers patients to allergists, gastroenterologists and gynecologists.
Beth employs an effective but gentle needling technique to achieve results with minimal discomfort. She regularly practices on herself to ensure her patients have a comfortable needling experience, commonly using 40-36 gauge needles.
